Bruno Mars has released his newest video for “That’s What I Like”, the next single from 24K Magic in line for promotion. The choice for this was easy because “That’s What I Like” is a smashing hit already. It received the Platinum for sales and it is in this moment on 4th place on HOT 100. It is also the first number one in HOT R&B Songs for Bruno Mars. The 90’s funk flavor featured in the whole album is also present on “That’s What I Like”.
“It’s what we want to bring to the table musically. You hear these ’90s influences on the whole album, really, but 24K Magic is because of West Coast hip-hop: Dr. Dre, DJ Quik, Suga Free. This is what we grew up on. Listening to them, it was at a time when it was okay to party, to be flashy, to get on the dance floor.”
